it's funny you posted this because i watched this video a few weeks ago with a co-worker. she said she felt gross after watching it. i definately think it's weird, but i sort of feel bad for thinking that. but why inflict a life of such awkwardness on the kids?

then again, if it tastes better than mango....

I think it's perfectly fine. Who gives a shit what people think? If these people like breastfeeding then do it; it's not hurting anyone (or at least for any good reason other than a fear of difference). The problem is the world for not accepting the kids (if that's the case), not the kids for not abiding by the no-weirdness rules.

i feel ya. but when something is situated so far outside the realm of common behavior, especially when it involves kids who might not understand that others find it awkward or weird, i can't help but wonder about the choice that the adult made in that situation.

I think the point Alexander is trying to make, is that we all wouldn't mind suckling up against a breast every now and then.
